wow. terrible. strikeout, passed ball, Conger holds on to it too long, hits the batter, then run scores

And now mccullers might not make it to 5 because of that.

Hank Conger hasn't been nearly as good defensively as I expected.

LMC's location on his fastballs has been turrible this game.

    Tough run to give up.

Still not seeing how Conger was a big upgrade over Corporan.

Always thought that was a dumb rule. Why should a batter be able to
get on base after striking out?

Tropeano came up for a good start with the Angels, but has been pretty weak in AAA this year - 5.11 ERA and 1.41 WHIP.

Because the fielding team has to complete every play with an out.

why not. he was pretty much the favorite #1 guy from the last few drafts. guy made it up to the big leagues in 1 year. throws 96 mph +. The Astros lost out on Aiken due to injury/contract issues and is going into the draft this year with 2 picks but no favorites--especially on the pitching front. On top of that, our #3 pitcher went on the DL, our slated #4 pitcher is coming off the DL, and the #5 is a big question mark.

Pretty sure Luhnow wouldn't mind slotting in Rodon right about now. Just sayin

Yeah you're right they have no bearing in the outcome of a game so why should fans care if they suck?
