If we don't win by at least 2 TDs I am cutting up my old Texans pajamas and throwing them on the ground and setting them on fire

Watt gets 5 sacks. Clowney gets 2. Mercilus gets one. Media proclaims us as the new age Ravens. Few reize it's because we played the one offensive line that's worse than our own. Texans win 54-13. How in the hell did they score 13?!?
Man, I'm so sick of this all hype, all injury crap. These guys like Clowney, Fuller, etc. that can't play through soft tissue injuries. Before them it was Mario Williams. Now, the new wave is apparently headlined by Keke Coutee. We also had Braxton Miller. I'm sure I'm missing a ton. No wonder we didn't extend Clowney. We figured he'd be cheaper when he missed five more games this year. But they're good guys.
Clowney man...smh. He and his agent are delusional if they think they're going to get anywhere close to Donald/Mack money with his arthroscopic knees and career high 9.5 sacks
I feel like with Clowney they are just being careful but if they were playing a different team he might play. There's no reason to have him in this game and risk missing him for future games.
I feel like that, too. Don't for a second, though, doubt that it's not also another notch in his career games missed stat to bring to the bargaining table at the end of the season. That's at least a small part of what's going on. If we needed him, he'd play.
Oh for sure, I'm all for using it against him, especially if this isn't the only game he misses this season. I'm just not going to hit the panic button after they give him the day off upon finding out that they'll be playing against Blaine Gabbert who will be protected by 3rd string tackles.
Yep, if he plays and has five sacks because he's going against backups, we lose millions. What's the harm in sitting him? It's a power move by the Texans. For the good of the team. Win win for both sides, though his agent may not be happy.
I look at it as win/win, Clowney gets a chance to get fully healthy making it more likely that he doesn't miss any more games which would help him make the most of it.
I'd love it if I was able to notice him being on the field this game because he was a no show in week 1.
