He's actually been playing pretty good for the last few games. Maybe he turns it on in the playoffs?

So you're suggesting he was just coastin' during "regular" season games , only to "save it" for the playoffs? Hmm.....that would be a surprise lol :grin:

Nobody is washed-up, like it was said before. He and his coach both just tried to save him for the next month and a half to have a solid stretch in the final weeks of the season (to gain some confidence and find a rhythm) and then to show everything he could do at this part of his career in the first round

Do you want to say that they are on a different levels right now?

Wow, quite a surprise. How the things have changed

T-Mac: 17-4-4 in 17 minutes (vintage moves and plays)

They tried to save him for the postseason, to give him a chance to be healthy at the first day of the playoffs and it actually worked out.

You're really going to be surprised with some plays in this vid

That last move was amazing. The skill is definitely still there.

He did that against Indiana years ago. Only he dribbled it between him and the defender and then did a turn around step back jumper. Was the sickest/smoothest thing I had ever seen. I had to rewind it like 10 times. We were down like 20 in the 4th in this game, and we made an epic comeback, can't remember if we won though, I don't think we did.

Haven't seen much of McGrady lately, hope he has been conserving himself for the playoffs. I don't think they have a chance of going further than the 2nd round, especially without Al.

Agressive McGrady = productive McGrady. He can pass and always seems to make the right decision.

Just setting yourself up for a letdown if you think TMac will do anything during the playoffs... History will repeat.

History actually shows that McGrady himself does a lot in the playoffs. He may not win a series, but he does tend to show up. He is 3rd all-time in playoff averages with 29 pts, just behind AI and Jordan.

Yeah, T-mac doesn't have to carry the Hawks like he did the Rockets. He avg. 30+ ppg in the playoffs. Hater gon hate though, that's the history.

At least the Hawks didn't have to pay him $25 million/year like the Rockets did.
