still at work on the west coast, so watching on and off. Any word (or otherwise thoughts) on how deep Peacock can go? I'd assume they can't let him go more than 90 pitches, and ideally more like 75, given that he's been working 1 inning stints all year.
they have mentioned he is on a pitch limit, and that he likely won't go through the lineup more than twice. I haven't heard a number.
Just scooped Peacock in my fantasy league. Pitching is scarce this year. Deep league, but Peacock has been a machine. No reason to think he can't pry away the 4th or 5th if Fiers and Musgrove don't improve. Even if we add a starter down the road, Peacock looks like he'll eat meaningful innings and produce.
The Tigers lineup, from a BA point of view, looks like past Astros teams whereby the top 5 guys are good while the last 4 are under .235 or so.
can everyone at the game chant "peaaaaaaa" if he gets to the mound next inning for a batter or 2 and then gets pulled? Great pitching.
