Didn't want to pollute the GARM, but 27pts...on 16 shots...in 25 min...off the bench...without practice...for a bottom 3 1st rounder...for $7m/yr...under contract for another year... THANKS MAGIC!
I was sceptic of Magic, but so far I think he's going in the right direction. Louis Wlliams /Nick Young are players that with the right fit can push you over the top, but you don't build around them and you're stunting the growth of the young players by keeping them. Just get rid of them and start over. There's no guarantee you get a better pick anyone with these types of 1-way players. The worst woukd be just meddling around. Just go all-in on one strategy. And I thibk they should go full on development (not necessarily tank). To get a slightly better pick, but continue to waste development time for Ingram etc would be wasteful
Wow @Texanasiafan. You must be following Magic closely all these years. I did have the impression that he was not very good at judging basketball related things. That's kind of weird because he was supposed to have one of the highest BBIQ ever.
http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/basketball/ct-lakers-magic-johnson-tweets-20170222-story.html There is a reason (or more than just one) why Magic failed so miserably on his talk show many years ago.
