I'm as much of a Texans optimist as anybody, but let's not pretend McNair's comments won't affect us in free agency. We can have all the cap space in the world, but there's still going to be a group of guys that won't come here. Let's hope we can lure some lineman and secondary help here this off season.
It would only be a problem for the type of players you don't want anyway, complete knuckle dragger types. It wouldn't be an issue for anyone with even half of a functioning brain. But even then, some that would normally be stupid enough to take Bob McNair's comments out of context in order to feign outrage are usually the types of people preoccupied with race (nice way of saying they are racist) and those are the types of people who would love to play on a team with what could be the best black QB in the NFL. So, it REALLY shouldn't be a problem.
They suck to watch, but they're my team and I can't watch anyone else. I know I'm going down with the ship, but I'm patient for the Watson resurrection.
I think CJ gets a concussion every time he gets tackled. He gets up slow and shakes his head every time.
