I come to the Texans side of this forum and it just feels so cold and dark.

    Are the Texans really mediocre?

Franchise record - 103-133 with 0 championships or SB appearances, 0 conference championships or appearances

And our division has been subpar for years. I bet the AFC South has the least playoff teams since realignment.

Texans are much closer to SUCK, than MEDIOCRE.

But McNair is making his money though.. and his loser son will carry on the s***fest

Yeah, and even with two other backs having a better day you will run Miller the most and straight up the middle. Because, you know, that is where he will get hit the most by the biggest guys. Coach of the year.

This is a "four game playoff".... the Texans coaches, front office and owner sure like talking about the playoffs a lot for a franchise that has won two playoff games in 15 years.

Why even pay a head coach?

I am sure that McNair can pay to have a bot designed that can spit out worthless statements like "my fault", "execute", "we are on to ___", "Gotta coach better".

I hated this. Miller got the up the middle runs, Blue gets the outside runs, Grimes gets the delays and draws.

To be fair, most of the inside runs are delays and draws. Grimes just is stronger and shiftier so was more productive. Miller only does well with those if the line does it what it should...which is why it fails so often. He needs the Dallas line for delays and draws. On this team he needs outside runs/pulls/sweeps/counters where he can use his quickness and speed and the linemen have a little bit of a surprise advantage on their blockers.

Martin and Newton and Brown all year would have helped somewhat but not enough to cover for the terrible run calling. Or the poor use of Miller where earlier in the year it was al miller all the time, inside runs and now that he is hurt it is mostly miller and a little change of pace Blue/Grimes. It is completely nonsensical.

So many people saying Brock wasn't the reason we lost. Why? Because he had no INTs and played somewhat decent?

Truth is, if teams respected his talent there wouldn't be such a stacked box against the running game.

Brock's suckdom goes much deeper than his already embarrassing stats.

Because he played a good game despite absolutely no help from the O line or his receivers. In fact, he played as well as Aaron Rodgers did even with the O line and his receivers playing against him.

Some games it's his fault, this past week wasn't one of them.

    He was <6 yrds/pass with 3 dropped INTs. That's a good game?

Given the weather and how little O line blocking and how many dropped passes he had to deal with, absolutely. I mean, you can try to spin it whatever way you want, but Aaron Rodgers wasn't playing any better in the same situation and he didn't have the drops or the garbage O line to deal with.

I know blaming Osweiler for everything is a popular thing for "Texans fans" to do this year, but in this instance, it's laughably incorrect to do so......but you'll probably still get plenty of "Texans fans" to agree with you anyway.....so that's something.
