I would be so upset if we traded up to get Mahomes. I'm usually not a fan of trading up but if the coach and GM agree about the QB that they want and they have good info about another team trying to get him; go for it.
Yeah in general I would be a little upset if we traded up for one of the QB's. I would grow to be ok with the move but I think with how deep this class is it could be smart to stay put and take the best available player if the QB's are gone.
My play, if i was Rick Smith is trade down but get a 2018 pick out of it. That wouldn't work well for O'Brien but 2018 looks to be a good year to rack up assets to go get a QB.
Gotta admit, that's one of the few picks I wouldn't be okay with. IMO it pretty much has to be O line. RT is just such a pressing need compared to finding an upgrade from Kareem Jackson at slot corner. It's basically picking a 4th corner over a starting O lineman.
I love Deepi, she's my girl.....awesome person and really nice. However, I'm gettin' realllll tired of the Dippity Doo Da shtick that Texans Radio puts on us every single damn day. The sunshine pumping that Deepi, Vandermeer, and John Harris do on a daily basis has really grated on me this off-season. I VERY rarely listen to it, but sometimes if satellite radio isn't getting it done, and the Astros aren't playing, I find myself listening to 610, and instantly start cringing at the ridiculous spin they've put on this entire ****-show of an off-season.
the only thing for certain is that some team will c*ckblock us and trade up to #24 to steal our targeted QB
Please explain. It's one of the few picks you wouldn't be okay with, but then it pretty much has to be O Line? So, I take that as, if we pick any other position, you wouldn't be okay with it, which means there are a lot of picks you wouldn't be okay with...
You should turn to 790, then. They're the polar opposite. If O'Brien saved a school bus full of kids from death, they'd find a "yeah, but ..." for the story. lol. I'm still looking for something that's a more moderate look at football in the Houston area.
