Texans 27 Bills 13 JJ Watt 3.5 sacks, fumble recovering returned for a TD. Hopkins 124 rec yards, 1 TD
I had a conversation with a coworker a few days ago who is a cowboys fan... I told him that if my future wife ever had to the opportunity to do JJ I would let her and be proud.
I bought her a sweater last year that said, "All I want for Christmas is JJ Watt". I told her to wear it. Told her she'd probably get air time. She said I was weird. Not sure if she'll do it.
I wasn't expecting Nantz/Simms - but that seems low rent for a fairly important AFC game, especially considering there really isn't an appreciably better AFC game (Jets/Giants is a good one; Raiders/Chiefs is good. Beyond that?...) Or are Spiro/Solomon CBS' #3 team?....
Rex Ryan is gonna confuse the crap out of Brian Hoyer...and Hoyer when confused, makes stupid decisions. Hoyer is a ticking time bomb. #illtimed throws are his forte. He had one terrible INT against the Saints. Dont like the matchup...Bills roll Texans 31-17.
I would say we actually have the favorable matchup considering there defense has been playing like crap via injury. Maclin just tore their secondary a new one. Expecting hop to do the same as there will be plenty of running lanes with there defensive line being in shambles
Arent most INTs ill timed, terrible throws? Im pretty sure from week to week, 90% of QBs in the league make that mistake.
Nants/Simms are calling the Packers/Lions tomorrow night (a game that's back to being simulcast on CBS/NFL network... because Aaron Rodgers), and are then getting a week off... which is not unreasonable considering they're coming off 2 weeks where they've gone Thursday-Sunday-Thursday (Thanksgiving)-Sunday. Jets/Giants gets the #2 team (Eagle/Fouts) Radiers/Chiefs getting the #3 team (Gumbel/Green) That leaves Broncos/Chargers vs. Texans/Bills for the best #4 game.... and CBS is putting Harlan/Gannon on the Broncos game (which also isn't unreasonable considering Harlan/Gannon just called the last CBS game for the Texans, and have done 2 others this year already as well).
Yeah but we have a QB that managed to throw a pick against the second worst defense in NFL history....how much might the Bills defense score?
Tough game but Buffalo has a lot of injuries while the Texans are relatively healthy. Defense has to play its balls off and offense needs to avoid turnovers. I still want to see more carries for Grimes this game Buffalo seems to be able to stuff molasses runners like Blue.
And Andrew Luck threw 2 INTs against the Saints. And had the same number against the Bills. You make silly points over and over and over...just give up the Hoyer topic because you get owned repeatedly.
And Andrew Luck has been playing like one of the worst QB's in the NFL this season due to injury, he's been every bit as likely to turn the ball over as to score a TD.
