Pats -16 and nah.. 3-1 is in the range of a 7-8 point fav. Pats will be like a 12:1 ML fav...somewhere in the range of -1100 to -1300.
Honestly that's way too high. Defense has played well against some good QB's this year. One of which was Aaron Rogers who was hot. Game will be close.
It's not even a question. You stick with the guy that got you here and not the guy that still has yet to throw his first TD pass in the NFL.
Hella deluded not realizing that he played well last week.....but then again "Texans fans" are a different breed.
First time at a playoff game... great win. The atmosphere was always positive cuz we were winning the whole game.
It's really not odd. Osweiler played well and as a result of that and the defense playing well, the Texans are moving on to the second round. If instead they had a QB who has literally never had a passing TD in his career and the Texans don't get into the end zone, there's a chance they are staying home instead of continuing in the playoffs. I know it might hurt for some to admit that obvious truth, but there's nothing I can do to make it any easier for you.
Great win by the good guys. Now let's go kick some Patriots behind. #skockeralert Texans will upset the Patriots
Sadly, I'd be surprised if it's within a dozen. Winning comfortably vs OAK does give some hope. Has anyone mentioned Saturday was our largest margin of victory this season? Preseason included!!! New England is scary good though, especially against us. Major jinormous challenge.
That honestly might be it...Pats closed at 14.5 favs vs SD in 2007. Broncos were 14 pt dogs in 2011 w/ Tebow (lost 45-10). So we'll probably be the biggest dog unless some huge money comes in before closing on us. I think the line should be closer to 14 than to 16 but it's largely negligible anyways. We were 9.5 point dogs vs NE in 2012. Favs are 9-2 straight up in the playoffs as DD favorites. Losses are Pats (-12) to Giants in the SB and Rams (-14) to Pats in the SB. Margin of victory for last four DD favs (including today) are: 18, 14, 35, and 17.
