Not sure what it means, but my friends dad (who went to high school with the Texans CFO) talked to the CFO on the way out of the stadium, and the CFO said it would be "An interesting Monday."
agreed 100%. at this point kubiak staying is creating a toxic situation. imo there's still a decent amount of talent on this squad - watt, aj, foster, hopkins, cush, brown, jackson, smith... most of which you'd like to see back next year. i think it's pretty obvious that the players have lost faith in the system and the coaching staff by default. seeing things like trotting schaub back out there was 100% self-serving to kubiak and everyone knew it. time to cut bait, hand the keys over to keenum for the rest of the year and see what we have without destroying the locker room beyond repair.
This is why Kubes had a mini stroke because his decision making or lackthereof was exposed in that first half against the colts. I bet Kubiak wanted Case to spike the ball and Case said screw you touchdown Andre Johnson lead 21-3. Commence Kubiak stroke. Kubiak likes control over his offense and Keenum is a gunslinger and probably made his heart jump out of chest on his decision to not listen to Kubiak
Dude is playing for a contract. It was a foregone conclusion that Tate was going to leave Houston after this season as he was tired of being Foster's backup.
THIS x1000000 You'd think we've won 6 superbowls.. I'm thankful for Matt Schaub's time here, I think it's time to move on, but everything is on the coaches.. this whole season.. Players are not to blame.
players just need to shut the **** up. they love being on that pedestal when things are going smooth. tate can run liek a bull on long downs but cant pick up a foot on 3rd and inches.. hes playing with broken ribs for his new contract no other reason.. <iframe style="display: none;" allowtransparency="true" id="rufous-sandbox" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>
A strong pass rush makes the secondary look better and helps create turnovers. Makes average DBs look good and good DBs look great. The last 2 years we had 44 sacks. Good for #5 and #6 in the league. This year we're #22. There's really nobody outside of Watt consistently getting pressure on the QB. It's not the only reason our secondary play has dropped off, but it's a big one. Oh, and if Clowney were available when we picked, most people would probably consider him the best player available.
Poor execution, lack of control and lack of accountability are why we have lost our last 8 games... That's what I mean by losing the same way, it was typical for Schaub to throw it short on a crucial down and it was typical for an offensive lineman to get called for a penalty on a crucial down.
Tate has ran hard since he's been here, am I wrong? So illogical... "KEENUMS ONLY PLAYING WELL FOR A CONTRACT"
lol at Tate.....fans are wrong for wanting wins...and not watching a ****ty product... dude is overrated anyway
pffft tate gets paid millions. texans fans are the ones who pay for tickets, merchandise, overpriced food & drinks, etc. to see a quality product on the field. if they want to boo then they deserve the right.
In this incredibly disappointing season, this is by far the most depressing thing I have seen. Our hero is done with us.
