That's pretty ridiculous... I really need us to win. I went to school in Missouri and now live in Iowa. I know a LOT of chiefs fans.. Really want to disappoint them.
I was at this game. It was such a sad day. The end of the Warren Moon era. I still remember a KC receiver throwing the ball at a big poster of Buddy Ryan after a TD. Such a slap in the face.
It was their tight end, Cash. I was in Waco watching at a friend's place. I ABSOLUTELY KNOWING at halftime that our lead would never stand....and driving home knowing that the Run n Shoot Moon era was over. Painful...and one of many games why I have a hard time believing in any Houston sports team, even if that's not entirely logical.
Munchak got hurt and the o-line was just dominated after that, I remember. I knew then it was the final day of the run-and-shoot in Houston. Crazy thing is, that was the Chief's last playoff win. 20+ years ago. Meanwhile, the Oilers left town, Houston went without a team for a bit before getting an expansion franchise, who have gone on to win 2 playoff games.
Yup, I was 14 years old and my family had season tickets...I remember walking to the car after the game trying to hold back tears, lol.

People are already talking about how good it is that Peyton will go up against KC's defense in the 2nd round, everyone is sleeping on the Texans

A playoff game in Houston! I'm so very happy for those fans who'll be able to pack NRG and scream their lungs out. Everyone should take a moment to step back and savor this feeling. It's been a long time coming.

The Oilers had broken my heart so I became a jerk bandwagon Cowboys fan and I trolled a friend at school about how Joe Montana was coming to town. Alex Smith isn't Joe Montana.
Oh I know but it's really great to have a home playoff game after everything that's gone down with this team this year.
