They drafted a tackle, but it is a guy that is super raw and isn't anywhere near ready to be on the field.
Our offensive mastermind sucks at drafting talent for his side of the ball. 3 seasons as a headcoach and what do we really have to show for it?
i don't have no problem with Billy going to Deshaun when the 0-line is playing like that. he can make plays with his feet. there were at least 3 or 4 plays where it would have been a sack with Savage, whereas Watson was able to move around and at worst throw an incomplete pass. Savage has no chance with this line being the statue that he is he was more accurate when he was able to throw the ball so there is that
The Jags beat the living **** out us. 4 players concussed and 10 sacks. They might actually beat us two weeks in a row because now we're out all our tight ends for Thursday.
So Savage took all those first team reps in training camp and preseason to start only a half of a game? Lmao. Classic OB
http://www.chron.com/sports/texans/...g-several-factors-Deshaun-Watson-12188233.php The Texans' quarterback situation remains fairly fluid after an ugly loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars even though several sources expect rookie Deshaun Watson to ultimately be named the starter for Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals. Watson was limping after the game with a sore ankle, so health is one factor the Texans have to determine as they make their decision. If Watson's health is fine, which he insisted afterward in the locker room Sunday, then the Texans will have another reason to go with the first-round draft pick from Clemson. Watson had some encouraging moments against the Jaguars after replacing starter Tom Savage, including throwing one touchdown pass. He also was intercepted once and had another interception nullified due to a penalty. Watson's superior mobility and the Texans' substandard offensive line, which allowed a franchise record 10 sacks, are among the factors that would propel him into the starting lineup. The offensive line is in such bad shape right now that Watson gives the Texans their best chance to run their playbook. Savage was sacked six times and admittedly held the football far too long, a hole in his game that's a tough combination considering the lack of time his blockers are providing without three-time Pro Bowl left tackle Duane Brown due to a contract dispute. While Savage didn't play horribly and had an encouraging preseason, his slow internal clock and lack of ability to elude pass rushers are working against him. A consensus All-American and national championship quarterback, Watson represents the Texans' future. He may soon represent their present, too.
Agreed completely. I honestly don't know what BOB brings to the table as a positive. He's like an angry Gary Kubiak who doesn't know anything about offense either. In other words, completely worthless.
