Sunday noon on FOX (Cross Flexed) Announcers: Meyers and Barber

Bad news for Beaumont area (and most likely others). The local FOX will probably show the Cowboys over the Texans like they did earlier in the year. Glad I have Direct with the NFL package.

it all comes down to this. one wild card spot, three teams. may the luckiest team obliterate the 'elite' in the next round.

From 2-14 to 9-7 with a crazy situation at QB. And an outside chance at the playoffs. The Jags kind of eliminated themselves from picking first overall so I def see them showing up to play spoiler, but I still think we get it done. The defense will feast on the Jags beat up line. JJ scores another TD.

31-20 Texans. But I feel we won't make the postseason

First things, first. Let's go out there and obliterate the Jags so that BO'B and the boys can go "vanilla" in the second half.

Go Browns, Go Chiefs, and GO TEXANS!!

    Let's do this!!

    Texans-21
    Jags-10

    Chiefs beat down Chargers
Browns beat Ravens on a game winning FG 24-21.

I feel something special is coming. Feels like we are destined after all the bad breaks we have had this season. I BELIEVE!!!

Well there is still hope that the Browns can pull off something crazy in that they'll have Hoyer back at QB instead of the failed JFF experiment. The Browns secondary is no joke, so if they can make average Joe look like average Joe they have a chance

Damn. That cross-flex garbage means no Texans in Austin without NFLSD. The Texans should handle the Jags easily on the defensive side of the ball. I'm not confident in Case. One defensive/ST score should do it though.

I doubt the Texans make the playoffs, but honestly...they wouldn't win a post-season game anyway. I'll take the massive improvement from 2-14 and hope for a QB miracle to fall into BOB's lap this coming offseason.

He was out against Carolina, but I think he'll be back this weekend for the finale.

It's kind of a shame that Mallett didn't say something before his second start, if they had pulled him for Fitz, the Texans almost certainly make the playoffs. Gotta love the kid's heart, but he's gotta be smarter than that and think about the team.

Its also a shame Fitz had so many clunkers he needed to be benched

or if Fitz hadn't fumbled against the Colts in Houston
or if JJ Watt had sacked Romo in Dallas
or if Fitz would have just slid instead of going head first
or if Arian had played against the Giants
of if Andre wouldn't have ducked his head he wouldn't have had the concussion and would have played in Indy
    ...

I'm not going to bother arguing the point with you, it's clear from the times we've done this before that you hate looking at metrics that objectively rate performance and instead rely on subjective "eye tests" and preconceived narratives.

The team wanted to see what they had in Mallett before making the decision to bring him back or let him go. Fitz was a solid game manager for the Texans and if Teddy Bridgewater performed as well as Fitz this season, you'd probably need to clean up after yourself.
