Did everybody see Clevenger's post game comments?

"They are pretty loaded top to bottom. We are right there from top to bottom. We are right there with them. There's not anything they have that we don't have. They aren't that special."

Yeah, you're right, Max The Astros aren't that special. They're just World Series Champs (1948, chump). And they do have a couple of things you don't (besides those rings) like a winning record and starting rotation on an historic run.

Seriously, did a bunch of our guys bang these deluded idiots wives or something?

Having the best run differential matters a lot unless you lose in the playoffs, then it's meaningless.

Yep, but it is a better predictor of playoff success than winning percentage.

The roaring crowd didn't tip him off that it was a fair ball? He had a glove on so IDK about that shelling peanuts excuse.

We managed to equal our 2017 win total against them in one game. Great start to the series.

I am back to biting my fingernails when I see Giles though

Definitely liked what I saw from Kemp! Fisher, not so much :( How much more of Fishers .222 OBP can we tolerate? Which Gattis are we going to get the rest of May?

She’s full of it. Regardless of being able to shell peanuts one handed, he was not shelling at the time of that hit.

Dude was hella triggered by that L. Shame cause I liked Clevinger a lot. Now he’s on my (already lengthy) list of Indians pitchers to dislike.

To be fair, they did sweep us last year. In their heads, they're the better team. I know that feeling of "man, we beat the crap out of them. We're better etc. etc etc."

Clevinger’s comments aren’t that bad. His stance is basically “we’re just as good as them”. The Indians last year were great. Honestly, who knows if we even beat them if they beat NYY. That’s one matchup I was ecstatic to avoid.

CLE had a historically great team last year. It’s gone forgotten to some, and they’ve lost some pieces and had a slow start, but I don’t take offense to his comments. He’s more or less just saying that CLE is as good as HOU, not that HOU isn’t good.

Time to extend netting 360 degrees. You want foul balls? Too bad.

Meh, season series don't say much or else the Twins should be favorites over the Astros this year.

Last year’s season series had little to do with why I wanted to avoid them. Wanted to avoid CLE because their team was historically good and I thought we matched up better vs NYY.

Astros haven't swept a home series since the opener vs Baltimore.

    Win today and tomorrow

If the bats ever get going, and the starters stay this good, will we ever lose?

He cost Kemp an additional RBI and probably cost him a triple.
