Tolliver looked a hell of a lot better there. Must have calmed down not having to have his first Stros moment with two men on and no outs again.

The Astros still have the best record in baseball by a couple of games. Any team you pick as "the best" will have series like this. It's baseball.

Marisnick gets red hot during the Marllns series then Hinch benches him for 3 games? (That psychology degree in effect)

I also think McCann was a huge part of our success early in the season. With him out for Gattis, who is a total rube behind the plate (no wonder we played Conger and Castro over him) this team is going to be in serious trouble.

Aoki has really fallen off. Fisher should be close to getting a shot. Fisher may be trade bait though.

Wow. After smoking to a 29-12 record this team did not even make this series competitive. Watching this series was about as fun as watching grass grow.

I guess it's a rule that the Astros always have to have a daddy. Looks like the Rangers handed the title off to Cleveland in the offseason.

Here we are, putting way too much stock into H2H record against a non-divisional opponent

He may still be hurt from the hbp but then again nothing surprises me with Hinch.

necessary team meeting for these guys! and by team meeting I mean, Altuve, LMc and peacock singing some 1990s pop songs.

    highlights of the game,
    1. Julia interview
    2. Altuve home run
    3. Sipp continues his search of his old self.

I did enjoy early in the game they were talking about how Jake makes it look easy by getting good jumps and not diving after flyballs and they immediately panned out to a shot of Springer.
