I've been doing my best to remind people he actually said those words. I'm pretty checked out on the team now. I think it's well earned, I don't really know how you can ask knowledgeable fans to sit around and watch disgustingly obvious mistakes, foibles, gaffes and blunders *every* week. And it goes beyond the "big moments" too. They drag ass and lollygag the whole game. Not every play is a defining, pivotal moment in the game but they react, adjust and play like snails on glaciers during them too. I feel like BOB is trying to do too much coaching in the moment and it's taking too long. You get to Sunday and the coaching should be done. Everyone should know the gameplan and how to just play football by now, the decisions in game are one thing but your PREPARATION shows in the way your team approaches the game. Their approach right now...I mean it's like me trying to hit a golf ball. I don't know what I'm doing but I have a club and I've seen Happy Gilmore. That analogy works except that Happy Gilmore was funny and the Texans are just sad.
The Houston media is extremely soft, especially on the Texans. That question should have been asked long before now because you know damn well most the fans have thought it in their head.
I know what you mean, but that team is just the Jimmy team, even I can lead this team to the super bowl.
The people in the CBS sports radio 650 are very good on the sport reporting, and analysis, the sport radio 610 just sucks.
I wouldn't start blaming the media and the fans for the horseshit show we've seen for a decade-plus. How many years did it take for Philly? NY hasn't won NFL nothing for a long time. Dallas? Atlanta? Chicago? I know you're there, and nobody gives a ****, do they? Maybe finally this year? I don't understand how the "angry press" actually makes teams better. eta: maybe I understand now..... I thought it was, in fact, a sure shot...
Fuller and Watson are on pace for 24 touchdowns in a simulated 16 game season(6 games in). Freaking nuts.
