Yeah but they got so far purely on star power, the same will happen to us this season. If you watched the Clips play last year, their games were frustrating to watch, the right guys weren't getting involved in the offense and their defense was atrocious. This season, they're a true powerhouse with the right mindset and a true defensive and offensive system. Something they could never be under Del Negro. Just like the Clips last year, we're a competent coach away from championship contender status.
Last year the Clips got embraced in the first round... Sometimes the easiest and quickest thing to fix is the coaching position.
What did you guys expect from McHale? After his failures at Minnesota... heh. McHale was just a great player. He is a complete failure on the other side of basketball.
Blake Griffin is playing the best he's ever played under Doc so far. But I don't watch the Clippers closely enough to debate if they're better or not. We'll see come playoffs if they made the right decision.
I don't usually have a probelm with McHale, but you could tell the Wizards had life in them still and he took all the starters out of the game. Like are you kidding me?
