Really lame how things turned out for D-Mo. If healthy, he'd been a seriously great weapon for this team.
What? Are they going to mail it to him? Game is Friday. guess Rockets want to avoid Pelicans getting all pissy like GSW and Durant, since OKC ignored him.
Agreed, my hope is that by next year Dekker will be a better player all-around because of the playing time and experience he's had this year. I think the ship has saled on D-Mo ever coming back, but I'd still welcome it.
They should end the tribute video with this. The Urbanization of Toyota Center will be put on hold for a bit.
Too bad DMo is a shell of his former self/what he was becoming. Regarding Dekker - His first season was a scratch due to the back. So, he played well before he hit the wall in what is essentially his rookie season. Sam has shown the flashes of being a scorer....getting to the hoop and finishing...and, he's going to have a better shot from downtown in the long run. His abilities to be a good all around player have kinda hidden how good he really is...along with hitting the wall. This guy has what it takes to be a really good player in this league. Just give him your patience.
Hopefully Dekker will be our stretch 4 next year after we trade RA to free up cap space to sign Hayward.
