    well the trick up Morey's sleeve is obviously trading for Paul George and giving him Harden's number. talk about upping your risk profile.

    He has to be confident that he came move a combination of the players below to get enough capspace first:

    Ariza
    Anderson
    Gordon
    Williams

    Anderson's contract is the hardest to move unless Brooklyn is willing to rent out their capspace for a future 1st Rounder to absorb Ryno's $20 mill per.

    That, IMO, would be the real magic.

    Morey read about Lebron, Melo, and Chris Paul wanting to play together in old age so he's switching the package to Carmelo Anthony instead of Paul George, Convincing Chris Paul to sign, then sign and trade James Harden for LeBron in 2018 after GS stomps everyone again.

    Started to think Morey perhaps miscalculated the situation. A lot of teams have readjusted their respective risk profiles to cope with the GSW effect. The chance of pulling off wild tricks in such an aggressive environment is unfavorable.

    In any case I'm not a big fan of the "big mouth" approach he's adopting. I'd much prefer the "silence" approach c.f. Sean Marks of Nets, leaking absolutely nothing before the Lopez trade. Can only hope something of the caliber of another Harden-esque trade is secretely in the making.

    This got me thinking laterally. Suppose they can't unload Anderson. Instead, they make an all-out push to convince the league to make shots BEHIND the half court line worth 4 points. Ryno just has to step back like two steps and he's already there. Don't change the players; change the game.
