That Cody clip was great. Beetlejuice...hilarious. This should be a dominating game by the texans. They should absolutely control the clock with the run game.
Colt is in Texas and OBGYN will probably be hauling the rock; but none of that matters... HOU 31 CLE 10
The Browns have a better ranked defense than the Jags, right? The Browns record like the Jags reflects more on their atrocious offense rather than their defense.
Browns pass defense is ranked higher but they are bottom of the barrel in run defense (26th). I would also say that the Jags have played much better offenses overall (Steelers, N.O., Panthers, Houston). The best offense the Browns have faced is who? 49ers? Oakland? I'd take the Jags D over the browns any day.
If the Texans win, they would be 6-3! When was the last time we were 3 games above .500? Take into account we are doing this without Mario, our starting safety, and one of the greatest WR in the game. Once we get a healthy AJ back, man this team would be unstoppable. When was the last time we had a healthy Arian, AJ and Tate all playing in the same game? We might be the most complete team in the AFC, is it too homeristic for me to say we may be in the AFC championship game against the Patriots?
I'm not sold that they'll be there. Their D isn't there and I don't think it will improve by the end of the year. If they get there, it's based on the offense....
Yes, this should be a solid win, but I don't want to get overconfident - dead horse, but it is the NFL. The freaking Chiefs have somehow come out of the grave. We lost at home to a sloppy Raiders team and had a tougher than expected fight with the 2-win Jags Sunday. Looking past opponents leads to upsets. Cavs look terrible, but they still have 3 wins to show for it. Football Outsiders (adjusts for opponents) ranks the Browns: #22 passing offense #30 rushing offense #25 Overall offense #17 passing defense #9 rushing defense #14 overall defense They also rank Colt #30 among the QBs, using their value above replacement formula (his is negative) The formula would "appear" to be simple. Tack an early score on them, shut down whatever semblance of a run game they muster, and spend the rest of the game harassing Colt into potential turnover opportunities.
Peter King is an Eric Winston fanboy and a friend of his. Eric Winston is at least the third best lineman on the team this year. If he's an all-pro, so is the majority of our line.
I think Wade Smith has performed better than Winston this year. Johnathan Joseph is truly a blessing in the sky for what was one of the worst secondary's in the NFL last year. Dare I say he's better than Nnamdi?
I wasn't even counting Wade Smith. Meyers and Duane Brown have been better than Winston this year, in my opinion. Smith probably has, too. In fact, Winston has had a ton of penalties this year that have killed us. There's an argument to be made that he's been our worst lineman. I was being generous. Peter King, like John McClain, needs to retire.
Yards given up per game.....We're 3rd, 3rd! Granted we've played the Jags, Colts, Dolphins, Titans. But you play who is on your schedule. That has to be encouraging, extremely encouraging. Offensively we're 7th in yards per game while Cleveland is 26th (they're 5th in yards given up per game) If crappy ass Seattle can hold the Browns to 6 points, they shouldn't muster much of anything against us, I'm thinking 10 points max. If we don't win by at least 17 points then it has to be a typical Texans letdown.
You don't think that if we win 16-14 on a last second FG this place won't be flooded with "Fire Kubiak!" "Schaub makes my 5 year old niece look like Brady!"
