Hah, better than the alternative, the old "had to be separated by teammates".

    In Verlander's 7 no-decisions, all at home, he's given up 9 ERs.

Sure, when the boss is in the wrong. But when it's your own fault, no. Own your sh**

Ultimately, sucks for him... but what is the Astros record in those games?

I'l take all the no decisions in the world if it brings more rings. Justin is locked in for one more year here. I'm sure the Astros would be glad to have him beyond that, but its really panned out better than anybody could have asked for, and one more year may just be the perfect amount of prime Verlander.

3-4, scored 0, 1, 1 & 4 runs in the losses. The 4 runs was the Boston game where he left with a 3-2 lead after 6 and Harris went HR-BB-HR with 2 outs & nobody on in the 7th.

Maybe I'm naive to all of this. But does it mean Verlander confronted Giles after the game when the PR department says they left the stadium?

    I'm so confused lol.

No. My guess is Giles was being a baby and left early. Justin was frustrated at having to be away from Kate for so long, so he left early.

I'm really glad I grew up in this era where sports are covered top to bottom.

There's not a box score, column, or radio call that could possibly do justice to that final play last night.

No, they just dressed in a hurry and left before the clubhouse was opened to the media. @Nick and I were both joking about the bar run and the confrontation.

This is the first time I can recall Giles doing this. One of the things I've respected was him always getting in front of the camera and answering questions after tough losses. That can't be easy.

Yeah, he's generally good. I think he knew he was going to have to answer to the "F U" and it was probably in his best interest to let that one simmer for a day or two.

Baseball doesn't sleep...until it sleeps...after the final pitch.

I said "ah fuc you man" to my boss once. This is why today, I am an overweight sweaty motivational speaker who lives in a van down by the river.

Giles would have still been with the team if he acted professionally. Hopefully, this helps him get his head on straight.
