    Beyond the medium term implications, this is not ideal in the short term as it means we will burn the bullpen at the front end of a 17-day streak without a day off.

    Might see Valdez back up here?

    Realistically, unless it was literally just a tiny bit of soreness that they’re being overly cautious about, he’s probably going to miss at least two more starts. Maybe 3. 3 starts would be right around 2-2.5 weeks. Worst case would be an entire month on the IL and not back until mid-September.
