    Also because it was a one run lead due to James giving up 3 runs.

    Not sure Hinch ever has left in a late inning reliever in for the inning AFTER they gave up multiple runs.

    They’re obviously trying to see as much about James as possible, including how he bounces back after giving up a big hit.
