    zito is the second starter, cain is the third. you'll see timmy, zito, cain, in that order.

    Brandon Lyon got beat like a red headed step child yesterday. Lyon likely may not game ready by the start of the season. I would not be surprised if he is DLed and Casey Daigle is brought back.

    Hank Blalock was cut by the Rays. At this point of his career his a first baseman. Astros should take a clook at him as a pinch hitter/1st baseman in case Berkman injury drags on. No Blum at 1st.

    chris shelton had a really good spring for us, and serves the same purpose.

    Well folks, it's finally here.

    Should be a good'n tomorrow night. Hopefully Roy can have a solid outing, and most importantly stay healthy.

    I think we can all agree that this season may not be the best, with our young guys getting some playing time, and the many question marks surrounding our ball club. However, it's opening day...fresh start for every team. Here's to another fun season Astros fans!
