It is August 13 2017 and the Bandwagon is gone. Bandwagon fans are going to watch the Texans and Rockets. I am jointing the Texans and Rockets Bandwagon. There will be no World Series in Houston this year. Only thing going on in October will be Halloween.

Wrong. I would say those words out loud and take a justified ass-beating from any one of them if it got them fired up enough to get out of this funk.

At this point, I am willing to accept personal injury for the benefit of the hometown team.

I am completely ready. I have a bottle of Pinot Noir on tap for tomorrow, then Chardonnay on Monday and Shiraz on Tuesday. I am going Wednesday and Thursday, so I will be partaking of the beer from that St. Arnold's beer tap place near section 130 whatever it is.

Ultimately, I'll take a 5-game losing streak from my Astros over anything any other team does in MLB.

My second team are the Red Sox (Boston native) so if the Astros can't get it done then I'll have Red Sox to fall back on. But it looks like the dodgers are on a mission to win it all.

We need Keuchel to give us a chance. Perform the duty of an ace and bust this slump. I would love to see him get back to what he is. This team needs Dallas.

Can everyone just take a deep breath and relax? The last 5 WS champs have all had a similar stretch to the one the Astros are having right now... it is just the timing of it that is causing all the backlash and pushback from the fans (post-deadline). They are going to be fine.

Today is the day we exorcise our demons and get back to winning ...
Kuechel will be awesome and the offense will hum along like it used to.

In a slump and sitting Springer, who hasn't been back a week, frustrating. I don't know all the reasons but not what I would do right now.

Former pitcher and Astros broadcaster Steve Sparks told Rangers radio that Keuchel has had much better bullpen sessions since his last start and has done better at tightening the rotation on his slider. He is also doing better at finishing his pitches. We'll see what happens this afternoon.

Less than 10 pitch first is a pipedream.
