Correa GIDP on a 2-0 count. He's broken.

 

Welp, if you gave me one guess on which player would ground weekly into an inning ending double play with the bases loaded, I would have only needed that one guess.

 

Mr. GIDP....

 

Depending on who is on the bench, in a big spot Hinch may have to ph for Correa in the playoffs.

 

You know a guy is running terrible when the best possible outcome is a strikeout.

 

I'm praying like crazy that Correa can turn it around in the playoffs but he doesn't have it right now.

Sure, but nobody else can play SS.

 

Correa does NOT belong on the post season roster. He has been an automatic out for two months! It's time to face the truth--he is terrible, and no, his fielding isn't enough to offset that.

 

As bad as Correa has been this year hopefully Hinch is thinking of different scenarios in case he needs to ph for Correa. Marwin and Bregman would be the candidates to switch over the SS.

 

I seriously doubt that Correa will ever be pinch hit for in the postseason, unless there's an injury.

But you're not wrong about the defensive moves. I wouldn't do it, but that's just me.
