^^^Beat me to it. Opening Day Roster: Pitchers: Fernando Abad (L) Enerio Del Rosario Nelson Figueroa Jeff Fulchino J.A. Happ Wilton Lopez Brandon Lyon Mark Melancon Brett Myers Bud Norris Aneury Rodriguez Wandy Rodriguez Catchers: Humberto Quintero J.R. Towles Infielders: Matt Downs Bill Hall Joe Inglett Chris Johnson Angel Sanchez Brett Wallace Outfielders: Jason Bourgeois Michael Bourn Carlos Lee Jason Michaels Hunter Pence
So is Happ going on the DL? If so, I'd like Jordan Lyles to get some starts. He definately earned it.
Ain't gonna happen. Lyles won't be called up until late-May/ early-June so the Astros can avoid Lyles getting Super Two status. The Astros aren't good enough that 5-6 extra starts from Lyles would be meaningful in any way.
What's the batting order for tomorrow? 1. Michael Bourn 2. Angel Sanchez 3. Hunter Pence 4. Carlos Lee 5. Bill Hall 6. Chris Johnson 7. Brett Wallace 8. Humberto Quintero 9. Brett Myers ?
Hall is hitting in front of Wallace, so I believe Johnson is the 5. Otherwise I think you're right on.
I suspect Wallace will hit higher up against right handers to break up the string of right handed hitters after Bourn.
I agree with that. To me, Hall should bat 7th, but I guess he's higher because of experience over CJ. 5. Wallace 6. Hall 7. CJ It still could be like re-arranging chairs on the Titanic. I certainly hope that's not the case though....I'm really pulling for Wallace to prove he's the real deal and for CJ to hit .275 with 20 homers. Hall is what he is at this point.
Not one expert picked the Yankees to even make it to the World Series. I wonder when the last time that happened was.
I think for the first time in more than a decade the experts are basically universally underrating the Yankees.
Nah, they're finally rating 'em dead on. Underrating would be saying they're going to finish last in the AL East.
