The offense has been a problem really all year. Up and down, squandering pitching gems, etc. They can't go into the postseason without another bat. Luhnow needs to stay up all night if he has to to get a deal done on another bat.

Yeah, you lost your 2 MVP guys. They're very hard to replace. Take the top 2 guys off any top team, they're obviously going to be worse. But when you(not you specifically) say this is an AAAA lineup, I feel you're letting the other guys off the hook. This is not a AAA or AA lineup.

If the Astros had to play Seattle in the playoffs it would be pretty scary considering Paxton would pitch 2-3 games depending on which round. Paxton is the Astros dad.

 

This reminds me of 3 years ago when they let the rangers catch up to them and take 1st after having a huge lead in the division. This team is so much better than that team but it has that same feeling

 

Swap Kemp and Marwin. Kemp has been consistently producing all season long despite a bad night today, while Marwin (in spite of a few decent stretches) is clearly never going to be his 2017 self again.

 

Exactly ! Yuli has been terrible, Springer average, Gattis average, reddick not so good and Margo not so good ! Hell even kemp has slumped but he’s a AAA guy ! The pitching has been pretty good but you gotta score runs to win

 

Yeah exactly. You have about half the lineup who should be playing in Fresno. J.D. Davis is a prototypical AAAA all-star. Can’t do **** in the big leagues, mashes at AAA. Belongs nowhere near this roster. Why bring up Tucker to sit him? So stupid.

I’m so sick of seeing JD and White on this team ! They will never be great MLB players ! They’ve been called up so many times and have never gotten better. Kemp has improved but those two guys and Jake are maxed out that’s all your gonna get out of them at this level

 

James Paxton is legit but Ariel Jurado? Who? What?

 

Cole total pitch count at 101, Paxton pitch count at 82. Recently, no quality at-bats and pathetic fight against pitchers.
