Hopefully a fresh start after the day off. Maybe Correa hits an oppo shot into McCovey's Cove!

Nice to see the only guys thats given us some offense the last couple of games are out if the lineup. Gattis is in LF, Carter at 1B? I hope Hard Knocks is good tonight.

Kazmir better not swing the bat. Not even once.

bats show up 8-0 early lead, only for the bullpen to tie the game. at this point, we're all passed out. by the time we wake up, the astros win it extra inning.
    long live west coast swings.

Need this one tonight. We have hit ace pitchers hard before

Have to say I'm not crazy about Gattis in that big LF along with Conger catching, defense isn't exactly ideal tonight

    Let's rock the Bumgarner

Worst road trip in 25 years. We end this with Kazmir breathing through his left eyelid.

I hate Gattis in LF. Would rather bench him and just start Rasmus, I don't care about the LH/LH matchup.

I don't understand Lowrie batting 5th. I feel like he needs more ab's and shouldn't be hitting lower than 4th.

I hate to see Gattis playing LF tonight and Marwin not playing??? This is a joke of a lineup.

Marisnick does not hit lefties, CC is struggling, Gattis, struggling and playing LF in a big ballpark? Conger hits lefties worse that Castro, and the pitcher.

So we have 5 weak hitters plus bad defense. Where is Marwin Gonzalez? He is killing lefties and should be playing 1b.

First of all, Bumgarner is tougher on righties than lefties, meaning, the Conger matchup is very difficult. Conger does not hit lefties, and Bumgarner pitches better against righties.

So, play 2 lefties and play defense.

    This should be the lineup

    1. Altuve 2b
    2. Gonzalez 1b
    3. Correa SS
    4. Cargo cf
    5. Lowrie 3b
    6. Rasmus LF
    7. Marisnick RF
    8. Castro C
    9. Kazmir P

Lefties are hitting .250 against Bumgarner, righties .239. The OBP is .305 vs lefties, .278 vs Righties. This is a big ballpark, hard to hit homers, so we need to win a low scoring game, so we need good defense. Gattis in LF? Is Gattis hitting to play a DH in LF?

This is a problem i have with Hinch, lineups are just not good enough. Marwin is killing lefties, and hitting line drives for a long time, and when was the last time he played consistently? Is not like we are winning games or scoring many runs, right?
