    So I am visiting the in-laws this weekend for Easter. How in the Hell am I suppose to keep a straight face talking baseball with my brother-in-law when his team has is throwing out Hamels, Fister, Moore, and Minor in the 1st 4 games? The Baseball Gods may humble the Astros this weekend, but A.J, Reed could hit those guys.

    McTags mentioned that Yuli could skip the DL entirely, serve his 5 game suspension and join the team Tuesday in Houston.

    How exactly would this work in terms of the 25 man roster? Doesn't a suspended player occupy a roster spot on the 25 man? If this were the case wouldn't Davis (or somebody) need to be optioned before tomorrow's game?

    The lefties are going to get pummeled... Especially our one through 4-5 who eat against lefties. We know Fister all too well.

    Lots of Marisnick, Gattis this weekend too.

    I expect a sweep, but wouldn't mind a 3-1 start to season. Let's go!

    Looks like there is a league suspended list that would cause a player to count as 25-man roster if Gurriel is on this list. Considering the actions/words of the Astros, it appears Gurriel is on the team's suspended list for which players don't count towards the 25 man active list.
