A lot of foreign latin players might start aging if their documents get scrutinized. Rafael Furcal aged 2 years too.

 

i'm curious. let's say that player like that has a huge contract and is playing bad.. then it is found o ut that they are really a differnt age. could the team void the contract on the basis that the player misrepresented themselves. . does the contract have the players birthday in it anywhere or whatever..

 

I think Ramon Ortiz (Angels) aged 4 years. I guess major league teams like 18 year old kids rather than 20 year olds. I didn't think it was that big a difference.

Not that it matters, but isn't it pretty well known Olajuwon is at least two years older than his "on the record" age?

Starks is funny, and Neyer actually isn't that good of a sabermetrician... but I still appreciate the effort .
