I bet this dude got PAID. No reason to think otherwise when it's the Bucks of all teams to make the play for him.

Think we've found the new dumbest team in the NBA.

Losing Harris for nothing (no, this is not hindsight either. It was a bad trade then and a horrible trade now) and now...what are they ******* doing?

If the plan is to keep Jennings then pairing him with Mayo is the same thing as pairing him with Ellis...except Ellis has more of that destroyer mentality that Mayo often can leave at home.

If the plan is to not keep Jennings then WTF?

Hopefully Dallas doesnt sign and trade for Ellis.

Ellis is that 3rd Superstar Dwight wanted to play with (at least in Monte's mind).

The Bucks are also going after Korver and Jeff Teague. I'd say them two and Mayo is a solid upgrade in talent, and a big upgrade in team-play from Jennings and Monta.

One misconception I've been seeing on forums of late is the conception of tanking over picking up non-elite talent. I don't support overpaying, but tanking is a false hope which rarely pays off - and it's like people expect to suck for a year, get Wiggins, and all will be well.

The reality of the situation is that 8-10 teams will suck it up in 13-14, but only one will get Wiggins, and two or so will end up with high-level talents but not superstars. What happens to the other 5-7 teams? They may add a solid talent, but many of them will have passed over potential '13 FA signings and made net-subtraction trades in hopes of landing a top talent which they missed on.

If you're the Bucks or say the Blazers (if Aldridge forces his way out), you're just not going to be bad enough to "tank" in the traditional sense. So the key is developing what talent you have and maintaining a solid net-value (for assets) on your team, so that when a great FA opportunity or trade opportunity (see: Harden) presents itself, you'll have the ability to pull the trigger.

Mayo had nothing to do with Dallas chances at signing Dwight
