I read about this earlier today but...
I cannot believe what I just saw. That's insane.

The video almost looks sped up!

I am pretty sure it was in KMH, not MPH. Still very impressive though. Looks like he got up to around 260 MPH (369 KMH) on that straight away. That is insanely fast!

Here is the same car beating Hamiliton's F1 record at Spa - after this run I read that it wouldn't be allowed to run Nurburging because it was just too fast so seeing this today was quite a surprise.

I think I read that was the 2nd time they destroyed the record today. lol. Crazy time since it basically trashed the record from the looks of it.

369 kph = 230 mph. Still fast as balls.

Glad they lifted those stupid speed limits.

It's a pretty narrow course with pretty much no padding or safety measures on the sidelines, so a speed limit seems like a good idea. These drivers are insane, but in case one of them crashes at those speeds, it's ugly.

Yup. And they are pushing these cars to the LIMIT to shave off a few seconds.
A few miles over at a turn and you are probably looking at a deadly crash.

Bucket list: Drive a 911 on the ring under 10 mins.

I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up improving his time at some point. From my rough count, he missed the apex of about 12 of the turns and hit a kerb 4 or 5 times, all of which slowed his pace. I wouldn't be surprised if he could get it down to about 5:05 on a perfect run.
