Gasol is a center. You cannot depend on him to keep up with mobile PF's. He has to have the low post to be effective. So unless Noah can reliably hit 14 foot jump shots then this lineup would not work.

The Rockets need some to show teams some ugly. Noah is the ugliest dude in the NBA.

If the Rockets can pull this off it'll be awesome.

I still want the Rockets to draft Fournier.

I disagree. Noah is a great high post passer and so is Gasol. I think they would play very well of each other and great easy dunks/lay-ups for each other. Plus Noah can hit the 14 ft'r at a respectable clip

Is there a way we swing a 3 way for Dwight where Noah gets sent to ORL?

for the 14,16 and martin you do that trade. He gets most his points moving to the basket, looseballs and hustle plays, goes with the style that both gogi and the ham run.

    Noah/camby/d-m0
    Luis/d-m0
    Parsons/bud
"player traded for lowry and ppat"/ courtney lee
Gogi/ 2nd round pick that eventually replaces gogi with all star numbers after gogi comes down with the bubonic plague.

My maury application on my iphone is telling me that the roster above has 97.918983% of being a semifinals team.

They have to shop Noah b/c Boozer's contract is unmovable. You can bet they'd rather have Noah than Boozer.

Noah/Gasol/Parsons would be #1 defense material.

Just what we need. Another non-star that'll hamper our cap flexibility and lead us to another 14th pick.

Considering that Pau Gasol has played power forward his entire NBA career I would say he has proven he can hold down the position.

Chuck Hayes at center worked to the tune of the #4 offense in the NBA. Granted, that was with Rick Adelman coaching.

I think chicago is trying to position themselves for howard. If they're wiling to take so little in return for noah, rose will probably miss the entire yr, its a secret tank job. They could sign asik to a gortat type of deal, give taj about the same and finish around .500. Rose comes back, amnesty boozer, sign howard to pair with rose and the draft picks. They could then trade asik for value to help fill the roster.
