With the aggregation deadline has passed the Rockets have not made a trade today in which a player that was acquired today would have been able to be traded again on Febuary 7th, NBA trade deadline. https://twitter.com/clutchfans/status/1070166298972250113 Is there a sense of urgency to improve the roster???
DM is stupid if he thinks anyone will pick Knight's contract without seeing him playing well in a stretch of NBA games. One decent G-League performance is not going to be enough.
Why are we giving up on Knight so quick ? I get he’s injured but he could be the spark we need to win some games before we make moves at the deadline
"We thought we were close, thought we had some things lined up but obviously nothing across the finish line. We like our current team. We'll continue to keep fighting and get this thing headed in the right direction. No one's happy with where we're at but we have guys with the right mindset who knows what it takes. I do believe we will turn it around. And obviously we'll continue to look for upgrades to the roster if it's something that makes sense. - Not Daryl Morey
Knight would be a good back up point guard for us. The only team I think he coukd start for just traded him to us in the off season. So giving up a 1st round pick to give him up does not seem like a good long term move.
People really thought we were going to make a trade that would've changed our season? Rockets probably just tried to turn Knight into something less worse in terms of flexibility and they couldn't without moving good picks, nothing more.
You didn't have to say anything, J.R. - that picture alone sums up everything about this season and the mess of a roster we have.
With all the promises that turned into problems, I find it hard to believe we are just going to mortgage off the future and ride this sinking ship with the hope that it is just going to be okay long term. The faithfulness of the powers that be is just overwhelming.
