texans trump supporting fanbase would rather trout out an immobile qb with a weak arm rather than an athletic qb who at least fits the read option scheme.

at least the immobile weak arm qb will stand for the anthem before he throws more picks than touchdowns.

Don’t really care if they sign CK, I probably won’t watch the Texans with this crap defense and now crap offense...signing Kap will make a few people happy and a lot of people upset...ultimately will lose a lot of money for the Texans but people for his “cause” won’t care ...they probably would if they were signing the checks but they aren’t. Oh well, bring him on...mediocrity be damned.

You are one of my favorite posters and have been for years. I can't believe you wrote that. I am so sick of people calling others "racist," I feel like throwing up. There is no factual information whatsoever that McNair is a racist. His comment was a twisted figure of speech and had nothing to do with race. He claims he was referring to the NFL front office. He has apologized twice. There is NOTHING in his past history to point to racism. A Black man is the godfather to his grandchildren. They ride to church together every Sunday. He has given millions to minority causes. I have many "football" disagreements with him, but he is not a racist. I am sad that you said that.

    http://www.nfl.com/videos/houston-t...-Kaepernick-Bob-McNair-has-a-decision-to-make

    Kaepernick a possibility?

Mike Silver: I believe that if Bill O'Brien had unilateral decision making power, Kaepernick would be the first person that comes to his mind, at least as a reinforcement should Tom Savage struggle. Rick Smith is the GM, he makes the personnel decisions & Bob McNair has to make the business decision & sign that check & sign off on that. On the spectrum of coaches open to it, Bill O'Brien is pretty high. Coach wise, it could be a good fit but Rick SMith & Bob McNair would have to be consulted.

Difference between going with savage vs Kaep? 5-11 vs 7-9. Doesnt matter. Texans are screwed.

He could rehab his rep with players and shed his WARDEN BOB label.

He won't of course, because MAGA or some stupid **** like that

The only way I pay much if any attention going forward would be if they did something outlandish like signing Kap.
But understandably, while that might make me watch, it likely makes many others upset for some reason.

    So Matt McGloin it is!!!!
