If the Rockets have any edge at all during this restart it is this:
It takes teams time to synchronize there offense and defense systems, you know set plays and communication on defense.
Not sure about the defense because the Rockets weren't that good at it before, but the offense...
They hardly ever ran any set plays, just kind of free form with Harden just making plays.
So there isn't much synchronicity needed.

Hey it's not much of a edge, but it's something

So if it's now the most recent games that's the determining factors, the rockets did actually win their last game before the stoppage of play so what does that mean to you

I can see Tyson Chandler getting 10-15 minutes in the playoffs depending on the matchup. I heard Morey say in an interview that they need Chandler to be like Nene in the playoffs.

he said he envisioned Tyson in the Nene role at the beginning of the season which shouldn't be surprising. But that was well before the full commitment to small ball which is now the case.

I'm sure they've used this time to discuss strategies and potential changes. IMO all we need is 10 or so mins of Chandler or Hart. Let them go in there and eat up boards to the best of their ability and maybe disrupt some shots at the rim.

I heard him say it in a podcast after the RoCo trade.

doubtful you heard correctly. Morey has repeatedly stated over and over their full commitment to small ball and the reasons for it and that includes during this time off

Right after RoCo trade, Morey was still working phones to trade for another traditional 5.

    Things changed.

    Why worry about this decision?

The team was built for heads up match with Golden State. House is only bright spot ot ot team, and the team has not progressed.
    God speed Rockets, hulkamaniacs worldwide!

I’m hoping they have time to work on some small ball lineup tweaks maybe . Fix things that they can win with the lineup they have now and not trying to fix during the end of the original season . I know you can’t teach height for rebounding , but find new ways to counter what opponents are getting hip to what they are doing . Kinda of like Hakeem’s counter fakes . He spun , he scored , defender figured it out , he counter that with a spin , scored again . Lol Hope that made sense !

Since we will be playing at Disney, we can probably pick up Goofy on the cheap and have him play some minutes at the 5
