Eagles RG Brandon Brooks suffered a torn Achilles' in the Divisional Round loss to the Saints. Brooks is going to be questionable for the start of next season. One of the best in the business, Brooks started all 18 games this season and had missed just five snaps all season before going down against New Orleans on Sunday. Brooks turns 30 next summer and is signed through 2020.
I thought so too, there was no reason to go run a play there, 1) give less time to Brees, if they scored 2) have more time to think about it, and even plan the next few plays to move the ball. Very dumb.
It was a good play. Catches the defense off guard because they think you'll run down time until the 2 minute warning. Jeffery gets 7 yards on 2nd and 10 if he makes the catch.
yup. people will just criticize it after the fact. nothing wrong with that play at all. perfect pass. hits alshon with both hands in the middle and just happens to go through. he makes that catch probably 9/10 times. just unfortunately, for them that 1 time happened in that moment
