You take Paul before Griffin but if Paul is waffling you take Griffin/Lowry and don't look back. We held our breath with Gordon the whole year. Blake is an injury prone player who's best days are clearly behind him and has attitude issues.
Personal, fans, players tell you that Lac is a bad environment. You can't make the claim he will be the same guy here too, unless your Dwight
Agreed. I like the idea of a Lowry/Harden/Griffin core a little more than a CP3/Harden core just because Paul and Harden can be redundant with ball handling (the two best court generals in the league would be on the same team). Harden would have to shift into more of a Durant type of role and let Paul be a little more like Curry. With Griffin and Lowry you would get another pick and roll dynamic with Griffin and Capela while Lowry can be efficient from deep and not be tasked with carrying a huge offensive load.
I think Lowry is a bit overated. He disappears in the playoffs and his shot is very inconsistent. Paul's attitude is a problem but he is the better player.
I love the fans on this board. Let's quote year old posts and pretend it's relevant to current events, why not? All joking aside, there was no reason to bump this thread, seeing as Griffin can no longer be traded, at least in a traditional sense.
Lowry cycle is underrated until the playoffs, then he chokes, and becomes overrated until the season starts. rinse and repeat.
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yypqlwbk C-Blake Griffin bismack biyombo(Vet Min) PF - Jaymychal Green Jeff Green SF - Kent Bazmore House Wilson Chandler(Vet) SG - Harden Justin Holiday(MLE) PG - Westbrook JJ Barea(VET) Rivers Would be a better suited team if you could get players like this around them Defensive. Would they sign on the cheap thou to play around these 3? Would the owner dip into the luxury tax to bring in Jaymychal and Bazmore. Defensive players who could work well with Griffin. JVG please!
I prefer to choose Kevin Love or Gianns to form big 3. If we get Gianns, we have 3 MVP. He has playoff experience. We need a player who can get 2x points in playoff not for preseason match.
House is good player dont want to lose him. Plus hes from houston Thou Detroit is looking to rebuild so they might want him and a pick thou. . If you were the rockets you play Griffin lightly under 30 mins during the regular season and get him healthy for the playoffs. You really dont need him every game during the regular season, and maybe 25-28 a night.
Lillard...Lillard Lillard....I know it's not realistic at all....but he's actually the perfect fit next to Harden. Offensively no one is stopping that. You try doubling...go ahead. It wont go well for you...Sigh it doesnt matter.
Portland's GM would have to be on massive amounts of hard drugs to do this trade.....but I would be so energized about next season if Morey could pull this off haha.
i'm liking this roster, but i'd like to add Jerami Grant to SF. i don't want House near this team anymore.
