Actually, I used to be Mike Bibby's fan.
But now I think we have enough PG, and we already have chemistry, we just need to wait Yao back, no more big moves.

Why? We don't need him If Skip keeps playing like this, and then we got Francis' triumphant return....again and the future, Aaron Brooks.

Bibby has a low percentage shooting.

On the other way, Bibby is going down hill. If he can accept the veteran contract and be a backup PG. We can consider.

Bibby's no longer the shooter he was, and remains a poor defender. (He let Bruce Bowen go off on him one time.) There's a reason why Sacramento shipped him out.

It's impossible to realistically discuss team needs when the Rockets are in the middle of a month long win streak. The playoffs will expose any major weakness they have, and then we'll have several boring months of off season to argue about who the team should trade for and trade away.

sad face is right.....this thread is one big sad face. Mike Bibby actually impressed you tonight? I'm hoping that you're 11 years old, and have no idea what team chemistry is, because if not, you're not a bright person.

i hope we can get Bibby. We could always use a good backup for Rafer and Brooks.

there's no question Mike Bibby is a good player (not worth the money though). I don't think he was implying that Bibby was in any way impressive this game (he didn't play as good as he can). What you said about chemistry is interesting, though I don't think that's the biggest problem with getting him.

Unless Brooks evolves into an all star or we draft someone who does in the near future, we won't ever have a great point guard. Which is okay because we're pretty well set at every other position but we need someone to defend those opposing point guards (Rafer) more than someone who can score on them.

Alston & Jackson are good enough for another season. Bibby will be 30 come May. If they add another PG he'll have to be younger than that.

Unless Brooks develops some playmaking skills he's looking like an undersized SG. His numbers are JLIII-esque but has potential and hype that could mean trade value that's good enough to snare a ready to play 7 footer?

Maybe a S&T involving Diop? The Nets reportedly want to add shooters next season.

To replace Brooks they either draft another PG or even try to sign Spanoulis.

Very appropriate for this thread. Bibby plays no D, whatsoever and didn't in Sacto.
