You can’t intentionally foul after 2 minutes left in the half.

I don't think they can do that in the last 2 minutes. That's a tech. :)

To be fair... why don’t you buy out the arena and fill it with your fans every game?

Don’t be get me wrong. I’d love to see a more rowdy crowd.

I’m just reluctant to blame fans first when the problem is really the pricing. Being in Austin I tried to find tickets to Spurs Rockets game in April and there a minimum of $50 on resale markets for the crappiest seats in the building. I’d need 4-6. Then drive, pay to park ($20 if I don’t want to walk 3 Miles) then food and drinks are likely to cost $20+ a person and now I’m hundreds of dollars in.

Does anybody even still go to Rockets games now that they're so good it's boring?

I couldn't really tell you insofar as i never watch, for the same reason.

people are the actual problems first before pricing. when the actual people are expecting a professional sporting event to be basically free, therein lies the problem from the beginning. thats just not realistic

Spurs @ Toyota Center will always be some of the most expensive tickets of the season. I don’t think the problem is the pricing, our fans just aren’t that rowdy. The Rockets have no problem selling tickets. NBA Basketball just isn’t loved in Houston like it should be.

    Who said free?

The price / value ratio is out of line with other forms of entertainment and what the majority of American families/people can afford, except for occasionally, at which point they sit in the upper levels.

Most of the season tickets are sold to corporations or business folk expensing them.

Certainly in the lower bowl. Which is why youbsee what you see there.

This was ATT center pricing but it’s the same basically.

Mind you if I wanted a seat where I could actually see the game, lol, we’re talking $300+ per ticket.

I practically stand at any semi serious moment.

Coming back making a run? I stand up.

Get a defensive stand? I stand up.

Hit a big shot? I stand up.

Down at the end of a close game? I stand up.

Up at the end of a close game? I stand up.

Bad foul call? I stand up.

Free T-shirts? I stand up and wave like a mad man. Who doesn’t want any a free rockets shirt?

    Ya dig?

you're paying $50 a ticket to watch two premier nba teams. what exactly is the issue with price there

if you dont want to pay $20 to park, then dont expect to park across the street from the tc. it doesnt hurt to walk a block or two. thats a personal issue really

food/drinks are no different than any other professional sporting event.

Spurs-Rockets tickets will always be expensive whether in SA or H-Town, that’s to be expected

at TC u can get tickets in the lower bowl for a decent price and in the upper bowl for not much money at all for many of the games...I’m able to find $10 parking no problem, and I’ll agree that food and drinks can get pricey

The cheapest two tickets for the twelves game in a week plus are $43 on stub hub. Those are crap seats. It’s basically a waste on money - to me and probably many like me.

Twolves are good but not exactly draw.

So my option is to either sit in crap seats against crap teams or pay a on of money.

But to make it clearer... watch games like tonight... it’s very easy to see seat wise where the “problem” is. And it’s not upper bowl. And generally lower bowl to behind the basket is decent. But lower bowl along the side of the court. There’s your lackadaisical late non rowdy fans. And surprise surprise. Those tickets are super expensive for most normal Americans.

houston fans have no problem filling up reliant every week and those tickets are more expensive than rockets tickets. ill never consider ticket prices as the main problem especially compared to other actual contenders they are less. you can't expect to sit close, park right next to the stadium, eat and drink for cheap all the while paying discounted value prices
