New Rockets Playoff Intro Video

Pretty cool, but not as impressive as the 2015 one with the music from Mad Max: Fury Road.

 

I love it actually, the only one in recent memory that was better is the 2014 one with the Tarzan 'are you the legend or the truth' line. There's only 2 clear misses here:
1) the use of thunder, which is pretty standard in these videos since forever
2) the footage of Beverley shutting down Westbrook and bumping the coach to celebrate

 

Heavy focus on James and Patrick in this which is fitting after watching game 1.

Agreed. I enjoyed it still, but didn't have the same "pump you up" feel....

A bit underwhelmed... but hate being a critic.

 

Man I miss this year/this intro. So much better than last nights.

 

Loved how smokey it was during the first half. It was great visuals for the spot lights.

 

Thanks for sharing. Was watching the Houston local feed over league pass yesterday and as soon as the intro was started, they showed their own clips. I was like, WTF?!!!

1. Kinda surprise game 2 tickets are still available at this moment.
2. I have this "drum-roll" ringtone in my cell phone captioned "Rockets Playoff 2009" but I cannot find the original vid. Anyone had an idea?

the intro only has clips with the black jerseys, are the rockets going to wear the black jerseys exclusively?! I hope so

 

I saw it from a different angle. It was good, but not the best I've ever seen. No reason to be a downer, but that is my take.

They shouldve ended with Dekker dunk and his nuts spread all over kanters forehead or at least have put in it there. Cause you know, We're playing them.

 

I'd like to see them do the intro to each player as they're passing the ball in slow motion. Ball still on fire but make it look like they're passing to one another and then once all the players have been introduced you put together a quick montage of made shots. So it's like a message about what all the passing leads to: quick buckets!

 

Holy cow that was good. When Rafer steals the ball and appears on screen. Beautiful work. The liftoff at the end... all of it. Oh and it's always good to see Yao and Deke.
