What does everyone have against the New England Patriots? I know their coach is a pillock and all.

They're just kind of arrogant and cocky. Really full of themselves.

    they demand attention.

    Sort of like, you know....

I'm a fan of an AFC East team (Miami), which means I hate every other team in that division. AFC East rivalries are about the most fierce in the NFL, alongside the NFC North

eh, I don't see many old Dolphins-Jets game clips with blatant cheap shots all over the field, players spitting on the other team at the Line of Scrimmage and bloody faces worn like badges of honor.

the ol AFC West still brings the greatest rivalries of all time.

It did not bother anybody when they beat T.O. and the Eagles in the Super Bowl.

It bothered me. I was definitely rooting for Mcnabb to take them down.

People just don't root for dynasties unless they're a fan of the team, or at least buy into them (aka jump on the bandwagon). Just like the Cowboys, Lakers, USC, and any other repeated champions, some people buy in, while some people don't. And the people that don't jump on the bandwagon often times resent that team's success. Like Wilt once said, "Nobody roots for Goliath".

I hate hearing Tom Brady is a better QB than Manning just because the Pats have had a better team. Brady is a better production/pay QB than Manning.

A QB can lose a game for you, but rarely does a QB win the game by himself.

Good team, but tired of watching them play in the Super Bowl.

    I wanna see Peyton win.

Tom Brady has NEVER had the kind of weapons at his disposal that Peyton Manning has.

I would much rather see Manning barely lose in the Superbowl.

    I hope it's a great game.

    Oh... FTP

There is a difference between having good players and having a good team.

I don't hate the Patriots. I think of them the same way I thought of the 49ers in the 1980s. They were so ridiculously bad for so long, they deserve to win some Super Bowls. Gives me hope for the Tex-annes one day! :D

I've got nothing at all against their team. They're awesome. Their fanbase needs to be dumped into the middle of the Atlantic though. They've been sporting an inferiority complex because of the Sox forever, but made worse in the 90s when every single franchise in Boston was awful.

Now that they won (Sox, Pats) some championships, the fanbase can't be happy just with that - they need constant affirmation from the rest of the nation. They need everyone to gush about them or they get whiney about how no one gives them their due. Classic inferiority complex.

    Shut up. Go away.

Defense? Offensive line? It's amazing how much time Brady had even against SD.
