I just finished Travelers. It is a new show on Netfix. As a lover of Sci-fi and Time-travel I thought it is amazing. Check it out!
I wouldn't say amazing but I enjoyed it. They kind of ended it strangely though. The way the people die is also kind of weird and not well explained how that happens. Honestly wish they'd make more sci fi shows like this one though.
I'm also a sci-fi guy. Very decent first season gives them something to build on. OT: I just love Netflix. The on demand, no commercials model is so much more enjoyable than the traditional week to week spoon feeding.
Binged this show in two days. I was iffy since there are a lot of time travel shows, but I really liked this one. Highly recommend watching this show. From what I read, they haven't confirmed season 2 yet, hopefully they will.
I agree they laid a great foundation If there is a season two they have a chance to really tell some interesting stories.
Yea....I enjoyed binge watching this show over the holidays as well. I would guess season 2 is happening because I think people who watched it enjoyed it.
It was good. I liked it. The time travel aspect is getting iffy already though. I would recommend another Canadian show, Continuum(also on Netflix) if you like time travel. It's pretty good and confusing. They don't cop out either, they follow through.
I will have to check that show out. Spoiler: Plot I wonder how they are going to deal with the changing future timeline? I feel like at some point they are going to have to show us the future and really develop a more tangable antagonist. Or may maybe they will pull a Dollhouse and the antagonist was part of team the whole time. So who do you think currently has control of the director? The faction? Or do you think the Director AI actaully wants Mclearon dead?
Continuum seems pretty cool. I am two episodes in already. The actress who plays Grace in Travelers is also in Continuum as well.
I really like it too because there are rules. And the charcters think that are being smart and try to change things and they screw everything up and they stay screwed up despite them trying to unscrew the screw up. Also I like how you question who you are supposed to be rooting for. You constantly question who is actually doing the right thing, if you're actually following the protagonist. It's a pretty underrated show IMO. Didn't mean to derail the thread.
Yes. There are multiple different points where you might be siding with the terrorists or the corporatists. It's complicated, as it should be. One of my all-time favorite shows, super underrated.
The Single Mother Storyline was complete Garbage Overall I give the show like a C+ to B- I am only marginally interested in how they write themselves out of it. Rocket River
That storyline drug the whole thing down Almost everything about her story line was a waste of time. and either stupid or ridiculous Rocket River
