Looks like a bright spot for Netflix movies.

Has Will Smith been in a good movie the past decade?

Focus was enjoyable. MIB 3 was pretty decent as well. Concussion (did not see) had a 60% RT which is respectable.

Hancock started off really good, then ended bleh (still liked it) and I am Legend was still 2007.

But yeah, nothing on I am legend level in the last decade, he's made a couple of pretty decent movies.

Netflix spent $90M on this. Hope it turns out better than the Adam Sandler debacles.

This was released on Netflix today, if anybody is interested.

I haven't watched it yet, but I'm intrigued, given the fact that Netflix basically treated this like a theatrical release, with directors/stars/budget.

The reviews said it was an ambitious, but works better as individual pieces....not as a whole. Netflix will get alot of streaming worldwide from this as you don't have to pay to see in a theater.

I'm watching it right now. It's a cross between "Alien Nation", "The Fifth Element", and "Dungeons and Dragons". lol

I actually thought it was decent. It felt like a movie that came out in theaters, but didnt obviously. Entertaining, and not gonna win oscars duh. But worth the watch on a night when you wanna turn your brain off and relax and watch a decent flick.

Perfect for Netflix. More than good enough to watch when there’s nothing else on.

Just finished it. Pretty bland...didn't explain jack. But...I was on my couch watching it on a streaming service...which didn't cost me anything extra.

    I've seen worse in theaters....

Is it a masterpiece? No. However it is entertaining. It would be better as a series to flesh out the world. Interested to see what the sequel has in store.

People tend to overlook Joel Edgerton.
