Focus was enjoyable. MIB 3 was pretty decent as well. Concussion (did not see) had a 60% RT which is respectable. Hancock started off really good, then ended bleh (still liked it) and I am Legend was still 2007. But yeah, nothing on I am legend level in the last decade, he's made a couple of pretty decent movies.
This was released on Netflix today, if anybody is interested. I haven't watched it yet, but I'm intrigued, given the fact that Netflix basically treated this like a theatrical release, with directors/stars/budget.
The reviews said it was an ambitious, but works better as individual pieces....not as a whole. Netflix will get alot of streaming worldwide from this as you don't have to pay to see in a theater.
I'm watching it right now. It's a cross between "Alien Nation", "The Fifth Element", and "Dungeons and Dragons". lol
I actually thought it was decent. It felt like a movie that came out in theaters, but didnt obviously. Entertaining, and not gonna win oscars duh. But worth the watch on a night when you wanna turn your brain off and relax and watch a decent flick.
Just finished it. Pretty bland...didn't explain jack. But...I was on my couch watching it on a streaming service...which didn't cost me anything extra. I've seen worse in theaters....
Is it a masterpiece? No. However it is entertaining. It would be better as a series to flesh out the world. Interested to see what the sequel has in store.
