Rockets need to trade him, it's too much money. screw Friendship with Harden. Is his playing time going to come. And his health and Fitness going to come at that level. He was very lean during the Rockets 1st year. He's been overweight and slow laterally since that playoff injury. 2 seasons ago.
It feels like some sort of under the table deal to me. I can't remember the details, but when Nene originally agreed to terms, it was rejected by the league under the cap rules. Rockets basically kept the money the same but added more years. I think the expectation was the money would come real easy in the last years of the contract. I could remember it wrong, or be way off base, but the contract situation seemed to resolve itself easier than expected. Felt like a wink wink deal at the time and seems like it even more now.
