Louisville investigating new book's damaging sexual allegations involving basketball team NCAA investigating Louisville over sex claims in escort's book Book: Louisville staffer hired prostitutes to woo basketball recruits
So, pretty much the entire "blue chips" coaches have been in violation, lol. But if you are going to be in violation, a-la Jesus Shuttlesworth style, I applaud the efforts here!
Ever since he banged that money grubber who became his assistant's wife at the restaurant, I can't ever read a Pitino mention without that story coming to mind.
I'm not familiar with US laws. Is that forbidden? For which parties? The staffer, the players, the dancers?
Oh another school gets caught for doing what probably every school does that has a semi big sports program
Harrell was named as having used an escort. Specifically, Katina Powell's daughter. Harrell was named by her and she shared a photo of the two of them in the dorm.
You can't blame teens for accepting free sex. It's all on the staff. Montrezl is still a hero, ignore the villains.
Can't argue someone's taste, but Terrence Williams... paid $500 to have sex with Katina... I'd probably ask her to pay me $500 to sleep with her :S
Those chicks are nasty. Just walked on campus and tell coeds you are a basketball player for Louisville and you will be far better.
If Montrezel liked Louisville, he's gonna LOVE H-TOWN!!! All he gotta do is hang out with Harden for a day!
I don't see how Rick Pitino remains the Louisville head coach when this is all said and done. The "I didn't know" excuse is not only no longer a valid excuse according to the NCAA rulebook, but it also doesn't carry a lot of weight with a general public that's tired of coaches ducking out of the way of trouble by throwing others under the bus. I imagine, even if it seems altogether likely that Pitino was blissfully ignorant (and let's be honest, that's likely the most flattering scenario for Pitino in this case), Louisville will want to wash their hands of the situation. The NCAA is going to have some questions to answer as well. On the Dan LeBatard Show earlier today, Katina Powell said that she called the NCAA to more or less turn Louisville in, but that the person she spoke to was having none of it and hung up on her. I get that the NCAA doesn't want to exhaust a ton of resources into investigating information from a random phone call they received, but to not even do some basic research into it? Usually, the joke is that the NCAA only investigates violations that fall into their lap. In this case, this fell into their lap (pun kind of intended) and they didn't even bother.
