Easily, I mean EASILY the best Asian player to have played for the Rockets.

    4th.. You forgot Dwight.

    JUST KIDDING!

Although it is arguable that he could be 4th or 5th depending how you rank Sampson and Elvin Hayes (When you say big man, do you mean just C? or C/PF?).

    Consummate professional.

Never complained, played through pain and adversity and represented Houston's motto 'Heart of a Champion' attitude perfectly. Unfortunate that the bones in the human foot were just not designed to handle the constant pounding for someone that tall and heavy. Given how determined he was to train and sacrifice his body for the Chinese national team every single year - surprised he lasted as long as he did.

Once in a generation type player imo and hope to be able to see a Rocket C who is as dominant, humble and talented as Yao was in future.

Yao>Sampson. No argument, he was better when he was on the court, and played longer.

Hayes was great, but he didn't have his best years with the Rockets.
