its because we need new jerseys.

they are not "sick"...who will wear our jerseys out..they dont even match or go with anything.

if we had something close to our 95 jerseys i bet Harden or Lin's Jersey would be top 15.

I agree our jerseys need a "new" update but Pierce over Harden at 15 and spurs over us on team merchandise : /

Ever since they've published this stat, which has been at least the last 10 years, it's never been more than nba.com and NYC store stats. It's disappointing that merchandise tracking has not been more improved over the years, or they just don't really give a damn.

The profits from all NBA licensed products is split evenly between the 30 teams. So Les is getting just as much as the owner of your Knicks is.

Not a problem as far as I'm concerned. I'm only concerned about what happens on the floor.

Les doesn't care. Merchandising revenue is shared equally among all teams.

Do people even wear jerseys anymore?

It's funny because people started to wear jerseys less after the league started instituting a dress code on it's players.

it's hard to get motivated to buy a jersey when morey trades the whole team every year. i predict with a stable core of players that stick around our jersey sales will go up again.

but i did buy a custom jersey with "morey" on the back this year.

I think it really started when JayZ made that comment making fun of grown men wearing jerseys when not on a team in like 2005 or so. Then they stopped appearing in music videos an became less "cool"

I did my part. I bought my first Rockets jersey since probably 7 years ago and got a red Harden jersey from NBA shop. Like everyone else I was super excited when we got Harden and after watching him live at the Rockets first game of the season (live in Michigan) that's all the convinving I needed and ordered the jersey when I got home.

New Jerseys would help a lot but Les has no problem since the profits from all of the Jersey sales are distributed evenly. Les makes just as much off the sale of a Melo or LeBron jersey as NY or Miami.
